Michelle has been a key part of ISU O’Connor Insurance since 2002. Her expertise in the marketing and management of the office is evident in her work, the growth of the business and satisfaction of our customers. After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Business Administration, Michelle began working with Erie Insurance as a District Sales Manager. Her attention to detail, personable nature and knowledge of products, marketing and technical operations within the agency gained her success. Her positive attitude and intense desire to find the solutions to clients problems stems from her own priorities and views on customer service:

Although, her focus remains on maintaining the high level of value for her current clients, she sees the immense and recent growth as an opportunity to build the business and become a bigger player in the budding Queen City, in order to serve more potential clients as efficiently as possible. Regardless of size and success, Michelle aims to maintain that personal touch and family-owned feel to O’Connor Insurance Associates.
Inside of the office, customers can find Michelle creating processes, managing the daily operations of the office and speaking with clients, all while naturally creating a professional and welcoming energy in the office. At home, you’ll find her tending to her family, especially her two children, and her beloved rescue dog. On the weekends you’ll see her out enjoying the community that Charlotte has to offer when the Steelers are in the off season of course.
For many, if not all, of the clients who look to O’Connor Insurance for their insurance needs, Steve Wescoe is a household name. He is often associated with the term right hand man and the heart of O’Connor Insurance Associates Personal Lines Department for good reason. Clients appreciate his attention to detail, his personal touch in phone conversations and his ability to listen to any and all questions before providing thorough answers that clients need.
Steve is responsible for the sales and service of all personal insurance lines including Auto, Home and Boat policies to name a few. His dedication has awarded him the kind words and countless referrals from former and current clients as well as accolades within the industry, most notably as the 2014 Five Star Home & Auto Insurance Professional.
Steve graduated from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in History and Political Science. Originally an Allentown native, Steve worked for an insurance agency in Pennsylvania before moving to and calling Charlotte, North Carolina home for the past ten years.

Family is incredibly important to Steve and is a main reason why he continues to be successful in his empathy and custodial cares towards his clients and friends within the office. On the weekend you can find him hanging out with his wife and their son, whether they are hiking the trails of Charlotte or just running around at the park.
Terry O’Connor is the President and Founder of ISU O’Connor Insurance Associates, but that hasn’t prevented him from gaining a reputation as a responsive and approachable agent to all of his clients. Terry received his Bachelors Degree at Edinboro University and obtained his Masters Degree from Gannon University. He then decided to head south for a warmer climate and a little less snow and after being a representative for another agency, decided to start his own Independent Insurance Agency.
What began as a business without one single client in January of 2000 is now recognized as a “Best Practices Agency”. With over 1400 clients and growing, Terry’s knowledge of policies, risk analysis, and his ability to multitask when it comes to time management has built friendships with his clients and created a can-do and will do culture within the office.
This business is satisfying for a lot of reasons. I get to meet a lot of interesting people, business owners and entrepreneurs whom I can connect with in terms of aspirations and goals. Terry’s passion for providing insurance services has grown over the years, as he saw how important those financial decisions can be for growing businesses like his own. Terry’s focus, apart from servicing his current clients, is to continue growing the business and become a key part of the entrepreneurial renaissance happening in Charlotte.
Outside of the office Terry enjoys hunting, fishing and being a sports fan. He’s a husband and a father, who values the time he gets to spend with his wife, coaching his son’s baseball and football teams and playing catch with his daughter.
