Co-President & Treasurer | O’Connor Insurance Associates
Michelle O’Connor is a visionary insurance leader with over two decades of experience growing and leading O’Connor Insurance Associates, a Best Practices independent agency recognized for exceptional client care and community focus. Today, she continues to champion a client-first culture as Co-President and Treasurer—leading strategic growth, client retention, operations, and agency innovation.
“No matter how much we grow, our goal will always be to provide the standard of service and personable attention we’d want for ourselves and our loved ones.”

Through these roles, she advocates for careers in insurance and works to ensure students gain meaningful exposure to the industry.
As an alumna of IUP, Michelle serves as the Regional Alumni Ambassador for the Charlotte Area, where she leads alumni engagement and event planning to strengthen community ties among graduates.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys time with her husband Terry (also her business partner), their two children, and their rescue pets Lucy and Theo. The family loves skiing, camping, hiking, boating, and exploring all that Charlotte has to offer—especially during the Steelers’ off-season.
