North Charlotte Supply Drop Off
The Locust Police Department is currently collecting supplies to help support first responders and aid the victims of catastrophic flooding in western North Carolina.
We will have our department trailer parked in front of Locust city hall and will accept donations daily from 9am-5pm. If you would like to donate outside of those hours you can call ahead at 704-888-4744 or email epfore@locustnc.com or kroconnor@locustnc.com and we will make sure someone can come meet with you.
Once the trailer is full we will transport it to those in need.

We know a lot of people are wanting to know how help our neighbors to west in the mountains. Beginning today we are accepting can goods, snacks, baby formula, & diapers that will be loaded on a 16 ft enclosed trailer and going to the mountains. Drop off times will be 8 am – 8 pm Monday – Friday and today from now – 6 pm. Please share and get this out, they need our help.

Union County Sherriffโs Office Monroe, NC
Beginning at 12 noon through 8pm today (Sunday), the Union County Sheriff’s Office will collect donations for our NC mountain communities. Examples of items collected would include: cases of bottled water, non-perishable food items such as crackers, snacks, nuts, canned meats, soups, packaged foods, soaps, detergents, hand sanitizer, first aid supplies, etc. The UCSO will accept items in the Eddie Cathey Community Room located at 3370 Presson Road, Monroe, NC.
